Brief Bio

Amvrossios (Ross) Bagtzoglou is a prominent figure in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering, primarily based at the University of Connecticut (UConn).  Holds a Ph.D. in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from the University of California at Irvine (1990) and has held research positions at the University of California and the Southwest Research Institute. In addition, he has served as an Assistant Professor at Columbia University before joining UConn in 2002. He currently serves as a Professor and former Department Head of Civil and Environmental Engineering at UConn.
