Diane E. Cavuoto
Diane Cavuoto is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at CTS Engines, an independent engine repair facility, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of CF6 gas turbine engines. In this role, she is responsible for the availability of parts supply to the business, which includes managing production control, planning, procurement,receiving, shipping, and warehousing.
Prior to joining CTS Engines, Diane was the VP of Strategic Sourcing for Honeywell Aerospace. In this role, she was responsible for $4 billion of spending, and her team provided strategic direction for supplier selection and relationship management. Overseeing a team of approximately 200 employees, she was responsible for productivity, supplier performance, transitions and general management activities.
Diane has held other executive roles at Honeywell, namely VP of Sourcing Operations, VP of Indirect Sourcing, and VP of Major Subcontracts. In these roles, she was responsible for $1 billion-plus of indirect spending, supplier transition planning, eAuction execution, contract negotiations, supplier claims, defense and space proposal submittals, compliance to purchasing and estimating systems, and overall project management.
Diane has also held roles at Honeywell as Business Director within the commercial business market segments and as the Director of Operations on the board of the Honeywell/GE joint venture with the CFE Company. Throughout her career, Diane has held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, customer and product support, and Six Sigma. Diane joined Honeywell in 1985 through a predecessor company, Avco Lycoming.
Diane earned a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1987 and a MBA from the W.P. Carey School of Business executive program at Arizona State University. She is a Six Sigma Black Belt and Design for Six Sigma certified.
