Brief Bio

Dr. Faquir Jain is a Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He is also a Co-founder and Scientific Advisor at Biorasis. Professor Jain's career spans over 35 years with experience in micro/opto-electronic device design and fabrication. His research interests include various microelectronic and optoelectronic devices and systems. 

Dr. Faquir Jain is a Member of the Connecticut Academy of Science & Engineering and an Editor for the Connecticut Microelectronics and Optoelectronics Consortium. He is also a Fellow of SPIE and has served on editorial and advisory boards. In 2023, he received recognition as an outstanding reviewer. His work includes a patent for an analyte monitoring platform, organizing symposia, and reviewing for funding agencies such as the National Science Foundation.
