Rebecca Ruitto Hall

Rebecca Ruitto Hall, PE, PTOE, RSP21, PMP is a Senior Project Manager and Principal at CDM Smith. Ruitto leads transportation planning and design projects while contributing firmwide through mentoring, quality reviews, and business development efforts across the United States and internationally. She earned her B.S., in civil engineering from UConn in 2009.

Throughout her career, Ruitto has remained closely connected to the engineering organizations and academic institutions that shaped her path. She serves on the UConn College of Engineering Center for Advanced Engineering Education Advisory Board and is an active leader with the American Council of Engineering Companies of Connecticut (ACEC-CT). In this role, she serves as a director and co-chair of the communications and scholarship committees and supports workforce development initiatives through ReadyCT.

A defining element of Ruitto’s professional journey is her long-standing leadership with the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS). With more than ten years of service, she has held multiple executive roles, including Treasurer, Vice President, President, and Immediate Past President, and has served as a Northeast Region Council Representative. Ruitto was named the WTS Connecticut Chapter Member of the Year in 2015 and graduated from the WTS International Signature Leadership Training in 2023. Through her involvement with WTS, she has championed mentorship, leadership development, and increased visibility for women and other historically disadvantaged communities across all stages of the transportation profession.
