Terrence J. Fedors

Terry Fedors is the Vice President of Engineering and Design at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut. He joined Electric Boat in 1986 as an engineer and progressed through a variety of engineering and managerial positions, including supervisor of structural engineering, manager of structural engineering, manager of human resources, and program director for the S6G Moored Training Ship program. He has made significant contributions to submarines designed by the company, including the Seawolf, Virginia, and Columbia classes.

He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1985. Mr. Fedors is a strong advocate for the newly-formed National Institute for Undersea Vehicle Technology, headquartered at the UConn Avery Point campus.
