Brief Bio

Dr. Manish Roy is an Assistant Professor in Residence in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department at the University of Connecticut (UConn). He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut in 2019, specializing in Civil Engineering. Dr. Roy's research interests include exploring innovative and inclusive teaching practices, particularly considering the needs and experiences of neurodivergent learners. This is part of an NSF-funded IUSE/PFE:RED grant. He also focuses on finite element modeling of cementitious materials, experimental testing of high-performance concrete, and repair/rehabilitation of concrete structures.
