Ramesh Sepehrrad

Ramesh Sepehrrad is responsible for overall governance, technology risk and compliance as it relates to information and infrastructure strategy at Comcast. Dr. Sepehrrad joined Comcast in April of 2007 with over 20 years of focused Information Technology, Engineering, and Security experience from a variety of industries including telecommunication, ISP’s, and manufacturing sectors. For her corporate leadership in the strategic planning and integration of evolving information technologies, she has been the recipient of the 2002 Circle of Excellence award, the 2004 Executive Leadership award, the 2005 CIO Award, and numerous industry awards in 2012, 2013 and 2014.She has also been instrumental in forging partnerships between Comcast and the University of Connecticut. These efforts include the establishment of CHASE (Center for Hardware Assurance, Security, and Engineering), and the Comcast Center of Excellence for Security Innovation (CSI). Prior to coming to Comcast, Dr. Sepehrrad was Director of Lifecycle Management and Quality Assurance for Sprint Nextel Corp. and Director of Technology for Nextel Communications. She received her Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and her M.S. degree in political science at George Mason University, and a B.S. in Computer Science at State University of New York at Buffalo.
