Brief Bio

Dr. Zuo holds two PhDs: one in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington (2020) and another in Control Science and Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (2018). She also earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (2012). In February 2025, Dr. Zuo and her team received a $500,000 Research and Development Grant from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission for a project focused on resilient autonomy in nuclear applications. 

Before joining UConn, Dr. Zuo was a Full Professor at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in China. She also worked as a Researcher and Research Scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington.
